Dear people,

The date, the location and now finally the price has been set!
We hereby wish to invite all those interested in (re)connecting to the Reclaiming community and making magic together to come to our Loreley witchcamp gathering from Friday 5 till Sunday 7 September 2008.
The gathering will be held in a remote area of the Dutch countryside on an old biological farm site alive with the nature spirits of the land.
Costs are € 125 for a shared room and € 100 for campers in their own tents. Tasty vegetarian meals will be provided from Friday evening till Sunday lunch. 

Unlike full witchcamps, our gathering will not make use of official teachers but will be largely co-created. We therefore wish to encourage all participants to offer their skills, knowledge, creativity or imagination in the form of a short workshop, a collective activity, a talk, some kind of individual session or whatever else may kind to mind. Examples are a chanting and singing group, tarot reading, chakra sounding, incense making, story telling etc.etc. The atmosphere will be low-key and exploratory and the emphasis on sharing and community building.

Each evening and on Sunday afternoon before the end, a collective ritual will be held to bind together the gathering, weave the threads of community and give people new to the Reclaiming tradition of witchcraft a taste of the unique Reclaiming blend of magic.  
The main language will be English and we hope that as many people as possible from outside the Netherlands will come. Experience with witchcraft or magic is not necessary, although an active interest and a general affinity is desirable. Our sole requirement is that you subscribe to the Reclaiming Principles of Unity (click to read them).

Young people from the ages of 10 to 16 are very welcome (sorry, no younger children), provided they are accompanied by an adult. They will partly be able to make use of the programme on offer and there will also be a number of activities especially for them. Anyone with ideas for organising extra activities for their age group would be particularly appreciated. A young people’s coordinator will be present and if you would like to help her out, please let us know. The price for young people is € 75, whether in a bed or a tent.

We would also like to invite anyone willing to help out with the general organising at the gathering to offer their services.

If you would like to come, please download the registration form and send it to us fully filled in as soon as possible. Be warned that if you wait too long, you may find that the gathering is full.
